PGA of Canada member, Doug Rankin, has joined the team at Lora Bay as a member of the professional teaching team for the 2024 golf season. Doug arrives at Lora Bay after serving as the Head Golf Professional at the prestigious Toronto Golf Club for the past 33 years.

Directing the golf operation at Toronto Golf included daily golf operations, tournament administration and merchandising, with a strong emphasis in club fitting and teaching a keen and eager golf membership.

Doug brings his teaching expertise to Lora Bay with a genuine interest in developing the abilities of players at all levels, including beginners and accomplished golfers. “I truly enjoy teaching and working on all aspects of a player's game, including short game and developing practice programs. Together, the student and I will work on developing measurable results.”

Doug and his wife Tami are part of the Lora Bay resident community and have ties to the Blue Mountains going back to 2006. “It is a thrill to be working with a terrific golf team and I look forward to meeting the members this spring.”
